The explicit objective of Operations Procurement is to secure a correct supply of materials and services for the Technical Operation of Austrian Airlines. This shall be enabled in regards to locality, time and quantity, while considering process optimization, logistics, capital commitment and further processing.
Aircraft Related Materials and Services
Additional to purchasing consumables and structural parts for our own maintenance in Vienna, aircraft interiors, components, wheels and brakes as well as in particular maintenance and overhaul services for airframe, engines, gears and components are part of our responsibility.
Besides these internal requirements, Operations Procurement is in charge of aircraft related engineering (Part 21).
Non-aircraft related materials and services
Austrian Airlines is accountable to purchase machinery, extraordinary vehicles and tools for the Technical Operations.
