- Business Class guests can now select elements of their breakfast on the menu card by ticking a box
- Passengers thus enjoy an even more personalized service experience on board
- Also new: selected spirits on board on long-haul flights in Business Class come from Austrian producers
Austrian Airlines has further optimized its offering above the clouds for guests in Business Class on long-haul flights. From now on, they will have a new menu card with a new structure and updated design. There are also some new features. Firstly, a popular classic is celebrating its comeback: the so-called ‘Kreuzerlfrühstück’. Business Class passengers can choose their favorite breakfast menu and tick it on their menu card. These selected breakfast items are added to the basic components on the tray. Passengers thus enjoy even more individuality in their selection and an even more personalized service experience on board their Austrian Airlines long-haul flight.
Austrian Airlines focuses on more red-white-red for spirits on board
The new menu card has also brought another very welcome innovation: red-white-red is now also the origin of some spirits in Business Class at Austrian Airlines. Previous international suppliers of spirits have been replaced by those from Austrian producers. The specific changes are as follows: The new gin on board is “Gin X1” and comes from Wolfgang Achs Apetlon from Burgenland. The well-known Carinthian “Gurktaler” is now available as a herbal liqueur. Whisky lovers will get their money’s worth with the “Roggenhof Whisky Single Malt” from the Waldviertel distillery Haider. Those who want to enjoy a chocolate liqueur can choose the “Mozart liqueur” from Salzburg. And all vodka fans will get their money’s worth with the new “Ignaz Vodka” from Lustenau. Internationally popular highlights remain on board. Port wine has also been replaced by a local dessert wine.
Speaking of wines: They already come exclusively from Austrian producers anyway. Austrian companies have also long been the main suppliers of non-alcoholic beverages on board Austrian Airlines: The mineral water comes from Vöslauer and the fruit juices are made by Rauch. The popular herbal lemonade “Almdudler” rounds off this Austrian focus in drinks. This non-alcoholic red-white-red range is complemented by international classics, such as tonic and cola.
